Patient Registration

Patient arrives at lab counter → Staff registers in LIMS (name, mobile, age, referring doctor). If linked to HIMS/CIMS, patient details auto-import — no re-entry. Payment collected, receipt generated instantly.

Test Ordering

Tests selected from the test menu (CBC, LFT, KFT, Urine, etc.). LIMS shows turnaround time for each test. Sample collection instructions displayed. Sample collection slip printed with barcode.

Sample Collection

Phlebotomist scans barcode → confirms sample collected → assigns to processing section. Every movement of the sample is tracked with timestamp. No sample gets lost or mixed up.

Test Processing

Technician sees pending worklist on their screen — sorted by priority and TAT. Enters results. LIMS compares against reference ranges — flags abnormal values in red automatically. Technician reviews and approves.

Report Generation

Once results approved — LIMS automatically generates a professionally formatted PDF report with lab logo, patient details, results, reference ranges, and doctor remarks. Zero manual formatting. Zero errors.

Report Delivery

Report PDF sent instantly to patient's WhatsApp. Email delivery also triggered. Patient receives a QR code — scan it anywhere to view/download the report. Doctor who referred also gets notified. Counter staff can focus on next patient.
