Patient Arrives at OPD

Doctor Consultation

Doctor logs in to their module → sees the OPD queue → opens patient file. Full medical history, past prescriptions, lab reports are all visible. Doctor writes e-prescription with drug interaction alerts. Prescription is auto-sent to pharmacy and to patient via WhatsApp.

Lab Tests Ordered

Doctor orders tests from the consultation screen — request auto-reaches the lab. Lab technician sees the order, collects sample, assigns barcode. Results entered → HIMS auto-generates formatted PDF report. Report sent to patient on WhatsApp immediately.

IPD Admission (if needed)

Doctor advises admission → Admission desk sees available beds in real-time → allocates bed → sends confirmation. Ward nurses get the patient details instantly. Daily nursing notes, vitals, medication administration all recorded digitally.

PMJAY / Insurance Claim

Patient is eligible for Ayushman Bharat? HIMS auto-identifies PMJAY-eligible patients. Pre-authorisation sent to NHA portal directly from HIMS. Claim submitted after discharge. Claim status tracked in real-time. Average claim processing time reduced by 75%.

Discharge & Billing

Doctor generates discharge summary with diagnosis, treatment, follow-up instructions. Billing module auto-calculates all charges — OPD, IPD, lab, pharmacy, OT. Final bill generated, payment collected. Discharge summary sent to patient on WhatsApp with QR code.
